The council lists three causes: heavy surface water, the River Chess going over its banks, and rising groundwater. It offers property flood resilience packages to cut the water that gets into buildings.
The Environment Agency also runs a groundwater flood alert area for Chesham. It has a separate warning area for the River Chess at Chesham.
Do planning rules limit small outside jobs?
